In 2004, Children of Phoenix was established to promote advocacy, educational opportunities, and research on behalf of victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.

Children of Phoenix aims to raise funds to support the educational expenses of survivors of childhood abuse. A small number of survivors have gained assistance with educational expenses such as school books, uniforms and fee payment.

It is hoped that pathways can be opened to an engaged and fulfilling life for those who have suffered abuse.

The resources of this fledgling initiative are relatively small relying on in-kind support of Friends of Phoenix.
